Project Hoima-Uganda

HRH Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, spouse of HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, is currently involved in several charity activities that were launched all around Italy through «Briciole di Salute» and « Città Cardio protetta» projects. Her effort goes to the poorest populations of the world.

Indeed, an hospital was built in Uganda in Hoima Diocese. The building, one of the most innovative buildings of the territory, was dedicated to St. George Martyr, Patron of the Order as suggested by H.R.H. Duchess of Castro. As we speak, doctors and paramedics work there with 40 beds and a delivery room. A school was built next to the hospital. A «Training school» for all healthcare professionals that could work in the clinic afterwards will be active in the following years.
